ACHIM FAERBER-IN THE STUDIO IN BERLIN RECORDING A RADIOPLAY-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14~

Achim Faerber (Automat, Eisbrecher, Project Pitchfork, Prag, Peter Heppner) was in the studio this week recording a Radioplay in Berlin. He had his often go-to live & studio snare with him....The 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14. He has used that drum, as well as the 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15, on countless records and live shows as well.

I have had Achim in my Latest News many times, and for good reason. By far he is one of the most diverse and talented drummers on the European scene, and someone who has been incredible to discuss drums and music with.

One of his many projects, the electronic music trio Automat, recently finished a tour of China. The band has also toured Australia, and have been hugely received on the European scene.

Achim will be starting with another drum from Beier Drums a little later this Winter. Will be updating this post then. It is new size, and I really think he is ideally suited for it.
