ADRIAN PROCTOR OF THEY WATCH US FROM THE MOON-TUN-PYROMOTH-LIVE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14........

Adrian Proctor (They Watch Us From The Moon, TUN, PyroMoth) recently picked up a 1.5 Steel–5.5 x 14, and he immediately put it to the test live. I really appreciated him getting in touch with me, and I absolutely love hearing from players when they pick a drum up.

Thank You Again Adrian. I will very much look forward to your clips and news about your use of this drum. Thank You Again as well for the awesome comment.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving my friend!...

"I just have to say again, this snare is absolutely amazing. I have over a dozen really nice snares, and yours has more tone and sensitivity than any of them. Seriously impressive!"...

BEIER ANNIVERSARY DRUM-LATEST UPDATE.....

I will be adding news about the upcoming Anniversary Drum, and after that the Special Edition in the coming weeks and months. I have started the process, and the details have been laid out for quite some time here. Both will be 15” snare drums to continue my work in this industry. Both of these were planned at the time I stepped away from this business in June 2021.

I really, really appreciate all of the inquiries on different size drums, but I just will be producing the Anniversary Drum, and the Special Edition, on an indefinite basis. On occasion, as I have mentioned, I will do a traditional size that I have produced over the years, but I will not have a schedule for those drums.

I had an incredible run in this business, and I stay in touch with drummers on a daily basis. I will always be here to answer all of your questions, for any type of service that is required, and will support your Musical Adventures always through my website, social media, buying records & merch., and attending live performances. I love all of that, and it has been one of the great adventures of my life.

If you are looking for a particular size drum that I have produced in the past, please do let me know. I have been lucky, and drums rarely change hands between players. But when they do, I invariably hear about this, or the drummer passing a drum along will get in touch with me. I never forget who is looking for what size, and I'm always so happy to match a drummer up with a new drum.

More news to come shortly! Thank You……

MICHAEL FOSTER-LIVE WITH FIREHOUSE-SUMMER 2022 TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14......

This Summer as I have said, was an absolute blast. It was a whirlwind of friends and concerts. It was just so incredible to see everyone, and Elizabeth and I had one of the best Summers ever together visiting everyone.

One of my all-time favorite bands, from the day of their first release, is Firehouse. I've had the longtime honor of industry legend Michael Foster using my gear for live performance, and for studio releases. And yet again, one of my favorite studio releases, which I find myself referring back to often, is Bill Leverty’s solo release: Southern Exposure. Michael used an early 3 mm Brass from here on that record, and it is one that I will forever play. I met Michael through industry great, Jamo Van de Bogert (Gregg Allman) years ago, and both of these guys have been a huge help to me over the years.

The band had a very busy Summer schedule, and that always makes me extremely happy to see. This is a band that everyone should experience live. They were always great live, but like some of the legendary bands, it almost seems like they're even more refined now. They are truly at the top of their game after almost 30 years.

Thank You Again my friend. Elizabeth and I will also look forward to seeing you all soon. Thank You for taking care of us and your always unbelievable hospitality. Congratulations on a great run, and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you having your 1.5 Steel–6.5 x 14 out with you….

DANNY THOMPSON-NEW ALAN PARSONS RELEASE-FROM THE NEW WORLD-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14......

Alan Parsons new release-From The New World is a remarkable Musical adventure. This is to be expected from this larger-than-life & legendary Musical figure. I've been a fan of his my entire life, and have had the privilege of seeing him live on four occasions in recent years.

The reason I got to see him live, and meet him, was because of Danny Thompson. Danny is his longtime drummer, and is a part of this incomprehensibly amazing band. He is someone who took time out for me in the beginning right off the bat, and he was completely receptive to what I was trying to do here at Beier Drums. He used his 1.5 Steel–5.5 x 14 on this record, and also on the previous release-The Secret. Danny also has used a variety of his drums from here as his live mains for domestic tours.

One more time my friend…Thank You Again! It was great to touch base with you a bit ago, and I will be in touch. I also am picking up the box set for this record. I will look forward to having you sign it…..!

LYNYRD SKYNYRD LEGEND ARTIMUS PYLE-A TRIBUTE TO ERIC CLAPTON-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14....

A huge Thank You going out to Lynyrd Skynyrd legend…Artimus Pyle. He recently selected his Beier 1.5 Steel–6.5 x 14 for his track on the recent release: A Tribute To Eric Clapton-I Shot the Sheriff.

Artimus has been an incredible supporter and friend to me over the years, and that drum has been his main for 100% of his live work, and recording, since the first day he sat down with it. I met Artimus years ago through one of Southern Rock's most beloved & legendary drummers-Monte Yoho of The Outlaws. Monte used that same drum for many years of tours, and records as well.

The Artimus Pyle band is currently out on the road, and it is an unbelievable musical experience to see them live. Thank You Again my friend for everything, This record is truly amazing, and I am so proud that you would select my drum for it. We will see you soon!

SETH RAUSCH-LIVE WITH DON FELDER-RAY REBERT-RAY TONE RECORDS-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15......

It has been a whirlwind summer here of friends and concerts, record releases, parties, travel, and is one that Elizabeth and I will never forget. One unforgettable show was seeing Seth Rausch live with Don Felder of the Eagles.

It was so fun to seeing Seth again, I think it has been at least three years.

Louisiana great, Ray Rebert of Dustin Sonnier and Ray Tone Records, was kind enough to provide Seth a kit for the show on that tour in the Cajundome. The kit included one of his personal 1.5 Steel–4 x 15 snare drums. Ray also owns #1 of the 1.5 Steel–4 x 15 in Black Nickel as well, and those drums have been his main since Day 1. Seth has used his 1.5 Steel–4 x 15 extensively on the road with Keith Urban, and that drum has also been one of his long time mains.

I really appreciate both of you guys….I cannot tell you how much. I so wish we could have been at this show. Looking forward to seeing you soon on your new gig Seth with Carrie Underwood, and somehow Ray we will end up in the same state so we can hang as well. I am always hoping Dustin will tour the Midwest!

CHRISTOPHER WILLIAMS OF ACCEPT-LIVE WITH CORY MARKS ON THE UPCOMING FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14....

Christopher Williams of Accept is getting ready to set out on the road with Cory Marks on the Five Finger Death Punch Tour on November 9th. I was really excited to hear that he selected his Beier 1.5 Steel–6.5 x 14 for these shows.

Christopher is one of the greatest Metal drummers in music today. But like all great drummers, he has the ability to switch styles instantly, and he will be spectacular behind Cory Marks. I've had the honor of him using several drums from here live with Accept in Chicago, and on the most recent release from them: Too Mean To Die. Another incredible record he used his 1.5 Steel–6.5 x 14 on was on the solo album from Pantera’s Rex Brown: Smoke On This.

Looking so forward to seeing you my friend December 6th in Chicago. Have a great tour, and Thank You Again for everything….!

ANDRES FELIPE SILVA GOMEZ-LIVE ON THE 2022 SAVANNAH RAE TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14.....

Sending out a huge thanks to my pal, Chilean great, Andres Felipe Silva Gomez of LaShola Studio-Nashville. Andres has had his Beier 1.5 Steel–6.5 x 14 out on the 2022 Savannah Rae Tour, and this was so appreciated here. That drum he has also used extensively, along with his 1.5 Steel–4 x 15, on numerous records, shows, and television appearances.

Thank You Again my friend. It is always wonderful to stay in touch with you, and follow your musical adventures. Will talk to you soon!

GREGG LOHMAN-LIVE WITH EASTON CORBIN-2022 TOUR-MILWAUKEE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15........

Elizabeth and I recently had the honor, again, of seeing one of Nashville's greats live with Easton Corbin…Gregg Lohman.

It was an incredible show, because this band is just that. Among my favorites…Yes. But technically and musically they should be among any Country Music fans favorites. It is an amazing and unbelievably entertaining band, and the talent in that band is from A-Z.

Gregg had along his longtime main for touring with Easton, his 1.5 Steel–4 x 15.  He currently has two of them, and I will have news soon of an additional drum in his line-up.

Thank You Again my friend for the wonderful time. It is always so great to see you, and I will be in touch soon. As well, Thank You Again for the popcorn from your Dad! It's awesome!

GARY KEITH JOHNSON-LIVE WITH THE LOHDEN BOYS-BEIER SNARE DRUMS....

Gary Keith Johnson is someone who really amazes me in this industry, and he is back out live with the Lohden Boys this Summer.

He currently has, (and him and I joke back and forth that we have to double-check the exact number), 9 drums from here that he has used live, or in his home practice studio. One of the drums is a #1 of the 1.5 Steel–7.5 x 12 that has been his main on many occasions, and it truly is utterly amazing the sounds that he has gotten out of that drum. The fact that it is a 7.5 x 12 and he is using it as his main, is one aspect. But the depth and tone that he has gotten out of that drum has truly been remarkable, not only to band members, but to FOH engineers, and to other drummers. That shell was a drum that came about by accident here, it was intended to be a 7.5 x 14, and I made the shell too small. There were two of them, and the second one is owned by industry great Jarred Pope (Tom Keifer, Damon Johnson, Gene Simmons).

Gary's depth of knowledge with the history of drums, different brands, technical aspects, parts and accessories, recording gear, and live experience with gear is  truly remarkable, and is almost unparalleled in my experience. I've encouraged him to start a website with a discussion based forum,  and I truly hope that comes about someday soon. His knowledge is rooted in direct experience, and a resource like that would be incredibly valuable, and hugely popular in the industry.

He is also a US representative for Canopus Drums, and they are one of the great drum companies of the world. They have a very unique and sincere approach to manufacturing drums. They are made for a Musical purpose and a specific intention, and that is what it truly should be about.

Great touching base with you the other day my friend. Wishing you the best with your health struggles right now, and will follow up with you and how are you are doing. The band is back out live, and you are where you belong…Behind Your Kits. This industry is roaring back, and will be bigger than ever. I will look forward to your Musical adventures as always buddy……

JIM THIEDE-LIVE ON THE 2022 BERNADETTE KATHYRN & THE LONELY DAYS BAND TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 15, 6.5 X 14 & 5.5 X 12......

Bernadette  Kathyrn & The Lonely Days Band are continuing on a string of dates on her 2022 tour this Summer. I have been following the tour, and this band is, like so many, back at it full swing.  This always makes me incredibly happy to see. It Is Time!

Jim Thiede is arguably one of my best buddies who I have never met.  We have spoken numerous times on the phone, and I have followed his Musical adventures with my drums for a number of years now. He is one of the most supportive, enthusiastic, and absolutely die-hard musicians that I know.

He currently has out all of his drums from here, and he switches off between his 1.5 Steel–6.5 x 14 and his 1.5 Steel–5.5 x 15 as his main, and he always has along his David Northrup inspired 1.5 Steel–5.5 x 12 as his auxiliary. He is great at posting clips of shows, and  I have so enjoyed watching many of them. I am always hoping this band will roll through my area or the Chicago area. I truly think it will happen soon the way this band is on the move, and I will really look forward to that big time.

Thank You Jim For Everything over the years. I will look forward to talking to you soon. And as always, Chicago and dinner with our ladies is on the radar for sure!  Talk to you soon buddy……

NICK FORCHIONE-LIVE ON TOUR WITH BLUES LEGEND CARVIN JONES-2022 TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15......

Long-time pal and industry great, Nick Forchione (Carvin Jones, Peach Pickers, Bayou Bandits, Cranberry Suite, Rex Carroll-Fierce Heart) is currently on tour with The King Of The Strings…Blues Legend…Carvin Jones.

I've been watching clips of this band on this tour, and I cannot take my ears off these performances. Absolutely and utterly amazing. Carvin responded to me and said he was working on dates in Milwaukee in Chicago for 2023, and I certainly hope that happens. I simply have to see this band.

Nick has two drums from here-1.5 Steel–5.5 x 14 & a 4 x 15. He has always been such a huge supporter, and a great friend. He is involved with numerous projects, and I had the privilege of seeing him live with the Peach Pickers on Luke Bryan's Farm Tour which I will never forget. He currently has his 1.5 Steel–4 x 15 out with him on this tour. There is also a new record about to be released from Cranberry Suit he did with that drum. I have been looking forward to this record for quite some time, and cannot wait to check in with it.

Thank You Again my friend! You all have a great time out there, and I truly hope to see you soon…..!

MAT DONALDSON LIVE-WESTON HORN AND THE HUSH-SUMMER 2022-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--8 X 14.........

Mat Donaldson has been out live with Weston Horn & The Hush this Summer, and to have this band back out live in front of people is not only awesome, it is important musically that they be seen and heard. I've listened to and have seen hundreds and hundreds of bands over the last decade, and this band is simply one of the most unique, and one of the most talented bands of their type I have Ever listened to, and watched on video. I still am holding out hope I will see them live someday.

I've had the longtime honor of Mat using his 1.5 Steel–8 x 14 as his main for this band live, and for their two incredible studio releases. He is also the owner of Drum World Tulsa, and has decades of knowledge about the drum business, and about drums. For him to choose my snare drum live as a main….Has always just been an incredible source of inspiration and pride here.

Congratulations to Weston Horn & The Hush on being live again. Thank you Mat Donaldson for everything over the years. I will continue to follow the band….Always!

FRANK VILARDI-LIVE ON THE BACON BROTHERS OUT OF MEMORY TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14....

Frank Vilardi (Bacon Brothers, Jewel, Donny Osmond) is back out on the road with the Bacon Brothers on their 2022 Out Of Memory Tour. I have been waiting for this tour to start, and it is so awesome to see this amazing and talented band back out on the road.

Frank has been a long time supporter of Beier Drums, and has used them exclusively live and in the studio for the past decade. I contacted him many years ago when I started out, and he was so nice, so gracious, and was so willing to check out the drums. It was a great time, and I will never forget that show in Arlington Heights, IL., at The Metropolis. We have been friends ever since, and we have always stayed in touch. I have absolutely loved seeing this band live, many great times to remember, and have also had the huge honor of him using the drums on their studio albums and singles.

This tour he selected his 1.5 Steel–6.5 x 14 which he has used often as his main live. Frank also has a 1.5 Steel 5.5 x 14, &  4 x 15, and an early 2mm Brass– 6 x 14.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you Frank, and so is Elizabeth. We have a lot to catch up on my friend! Thank You for your continued support and your friendship. I know you guys are having a great time out there. Hope to  see you soon....
