RANDY VAUGHN-IN THE STUDIO AT BLUVUDU PRODUCTIONS WITH DAMAGED GOODS-NEW UPCOMING RELEASE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14

Randy Vaughn is back in the studio at BluVudu with Damaged Goods for the follow up to their last release: Revolution Gun.

The band is based on the East Coast, and keeps an always active schedule for live performance. While the industry is tentatively on hold, there is no doubt they will return to the stages in the region quickly when that changes. Randy was one of the early players of the 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14, and the drum has been his main live, and in the studio, since Day 1 of picking one up. He has been so great to stay in touch with, and have enjoyed our discussions on drums, and his feedback on his drum from here hugely.

Thank You Again Randy....No doubt you guys are having a lot of fun recording this. I will be watching for this release, and will pick it up immediately...!

GERMAN COMPOSER AND MUSICIAN PAUL PREM RELEASES NEW RECORD-WHO AM I-JASON COOPER-BEIER 1.5 STEEL STEEL SERIES.......

German composer & musician, Paul Prem, just released an incredible record on November 6th: Who Am I. It is available on Spotify, and can be ordered via download through his website. The album was also issued on Vinyl. Details are on his website from the link below, and the video link is an introduction to the album.

Paul used a variety of musicians in creating this album. International session master, Jason Cooper, was one of them. Jason played on the majority of the record, and he used his Beier Snare Drums for all of his work. Jack Beddis from the UK played drums on Place In Hell, & The Walking Bad, and Thomas Lang played drums on River To The Lake, & Caffeine.  The first single release from the album was Jam Like The Dead, and Jason used his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 13 for this song. Paul will be releasing a single every week for the record as well.

Congratulations Paul on your new release. It was really great touching base with you and talking about the record. And to Jason Cooper.....Thank You, your work was flawless and thoughtful....As always.

RECORDS SECTION-BEIER DRUMS WEBSITE-THANK YOU GOING OUT TO SAM LUMSDEN OF SCOTLAND.....

One of Scotland's premier professional talents...Sam Lumsden (Independent Sessions, First Class Drums) recently contributed a comment for the second page of the Record Section on this site.

Sam picked up a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 in the beginning, and he is easily one of the longest running players using that drum as his main...Live & in the studio. He also has one of the early 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15 drums which he uses as well.  He has recorded numerous records with the drums, and is currently working on another new release from Gavin Sutherland.

As the owner of First Class Drums, his instructional institute is booked non-stop, and has been a huge success. The range of live performances with numerous artists is ever fascinating here. They range from weddings, shows in castles, military bases...It is a lot of fun to see and hear what he doing musically. Sam will always be booked continually....His talents range from A-Z.

Thank You Sam Lumsden for your support, friendship, and your contributions. They have been a highlight here for years. See you in Germany in July 2021!

BEIER DRUMS-10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY DRUM..2010-2020....

Many of you have continued to inquire about the Beier 10th Anniversary Drum....Which of course is this year. I really, really have appreciated hearing from all of you, and the overwhelming response.

All of the details for the drum were completed in advance, and it truly is going to stay with the program here: Utilitarian, Roadworthy & Affordable. Most importantly, it will be audibly recognizable as a Beier Drum. I am not one for changing things here for Marketing Purposes, the primary purpose of this line is for Musical Purposes.

The drum will be a 15" to further my work to reintroduce a complete line of 15" drums to the industry, and it will have a different finish. The finish will not affect the sound, or rather inhibit it.  I will be making 20-25 of them, they will be numbered, have an anniversary badge, and will come with a packet of details. There will not be any custom hardware...To stay with my philosophy behind that.

This year I decided was not the time to present this drum, I wanted to wait until the industry is back. I truly think that would be a lot more fun for everyone involved. It is going to be a bit, but this industry will not only recover, but will come back stronger than ever.

Will update this article....Thank You Again for all of the interest in this drum, and for your support....

TOMMY RICKARD-LIVE WITH THE BUTLERS-HOUSE OF ROCK-2020-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15.....

Rock great, Tommy Rickard (Scott Weiland, Vain), recently performed live with The Butlers at the House Of Rock. The bands show was met with huge approval...They are simply a Rockin band from A-Z. Please see the link below for the full show on video.

Tommy is an original member of Vain, and is a long-time pro of the music scene. He has performed live with countless musicians including Dee Snider, Keisha, and was a member of Scott Weiland's touring band. He uses two drums from here regularly: 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14, and a 1.5 Steel--4 x 15. His 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 he used as well on Vain's last release: Rolling With The Punches.

I was so happy to see Tommy out live...I cannot say Thank You enough to him for taking one of the drums along. One thing is for sure with all of the time off musicians are having these days: Professional musicians can sit down after long down times, and under unusual industry circumstances...And simply light it up. That is Tommy Rickard.

Thank You my friend....

CHRISTOPHER WILLIAMS-UPCOMING NEW RELEASE FROM ACCEPT-TOO MEAN TO DIE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14....

Rock legends, Accept, are set to release their new album Too Mean To Die on January 15th. They have released two singles in video format to date.

Just in listening...Even moments into one of the songs...It is crystal clear: This band is one of the greatest Rock bands to ever hit the road, or go into a studio. I have seen them live on several occasions, they are a sensation every time, and receive rave reviews worldwide from critics and fans alike.

Christopher Williams I met through another one of the industry's finest...Jarred Pope (Damon Johnson, Tom Keifer). He told me then, and this is years ago...That Christopher Williams is one of the greatest Metal drummers in music today. The first time I saw them, I was simply stunned at his technique, power, and his literally flawless timing. Every single drummer that has seen him agrees, on the spot. He is also one of greatest people personally.

I was thrilled to hear he included his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 on this upcoming release on a number of the tracks. I will update this article when the album is released. Please do check in with two video singles on the bands website, and for pre-order details.

Thank You To Metal's Finest...Christopher Williams.....
