A much anticipated show and visit with an old friend finally came about. Scott Thompson is not only one of Nashville's finest, but he has been an unbelievable supporter of Beier Drums since the day he picked up his first one. Many great times and shows over the years, and Elizabeth and I simply could not wait to get to this show. One of the most memorable shows we still talk about when they were at the Rock County Fair here in Wisconsin. I love this band's music, their history, and their unbelievable and ongoing influence among artists. They are, as well, some of the nicest group of musicians on the road.
The band was incredible as always, and aftershow with my old friend was just an absolute blast. I have long awaited a new record from this group, and the show included a song from the upcoming album which was spectacular. Scott had along his 1.5 Steel–5.5 x 15 which I see him with almost always. He also owns and has made extensive live use of his 1.5 Steel–4 x 15 , 5.5 x 14, and 6.5 x 14.
Thank You Again Scott. It was an unbelievable time as always. Will look forward to staying in touch, and Elizabeth and I will see you sooner than later…..!
