MICHAEL FOSTER-LIVE WITH FIREHOUSE-BEACON THEATRE-HOPEWELL VIRGINIA-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14......

I think everyone would agree, whenever we see a live concert go forward in these times...Everyone is very happy to see this....

Add to that, when it is one of your all-time favorite bands...That is just the deal. That was the case this last weekend when Firehouse performed live at the Beacon Theatre in Hopewell, Virginia. They are long time friends, they are still at the top of their game, and they are, objectively, one of the best bands live in music today.

Rock legend, Michael Foster, had out his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 in Black Nickel for that show. That is the drum he has most often used in the studio as well. He currently has an earlier Beier 3mm Brass drum, a 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 15, #1 of  the 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14-Black Nickel, & #1 of the 1.5 Steel--8 x 14-Black Nickel. (Link to video of kit for the show below)

Thank You Again Michael....So awesome to see you guys out. I so hope to see you all soon...... !

THE LEGENDARY RODGER CARTER OF THE DOGHOUSE STUDIO...BEIER 1.5 STEEL--8 X 15.....

Rodger Carter is a legendary drummer, producer, and a professional from A-Z. He also happens to be one of the nicest guys I have ever known. He was one of the first drummers to take time out for me in the early day's. He was so helpful, enthusiastic & accommodating....It was unreal. It was an incredible experience meeting him and seeing him live, which I did many times. We have always stayed in touch, and it was awesome to hear from him recently.

He is in the studio this week with his 1.5 Steel--8 x 15. I did 3 of them with these lugs, and his is #1-3. I dropped this drum off in Chicago for a live performance when he was on the road with John 5. That was one of those shows, like the Rick Springfield shows, that I will never ever forget, and think of often. He has also used his Beier Snares on his record Licorice Pizza (Get Down Make Love), and on Glen Campbell' See You There (Wichita Lineman).

It was so great to hear from you my friend. Will look forward as always to the release of this material. Stay Happy And Busy. I am counting on seeing you live soon buddy...THANK YOU......

Damon Johnson, Jarred Pope & Robbie Harrington, along with Richie Faulkner of Judas Priest, just put on a live performance on Veeps. It was utterly incredible, and a huge testament to the talent that these musicians possess.

It was a tribute to Thin Lizzy, and myself, Elizabeth, and everyone who picked up a ticket for this will never forget this show. I was on my feet watching this in my office....Literally. I left a comment to Damon, and I am hoping he will put out all of the Damon Johnson Band performances that they have done on Veeps in recent months on DVD.

Thank You Jarred Pope for using your 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 for this show...It was an utter, and complete honor. You were amazing...As always. I hope to see you soon my friend.....

SAYING GOODBYE TO A LEGEND....FRANKIE BANALI........

Frankie Banali recently passed after an extended battle with Pancreatic Cancer. To understand the widespread love and admiration for him...It would take a simple glance at the tributes that poured in.

Frankie had time for everyone, and he took time out for me in the early years. I always stayed in touch with him, would text him pics of Quiet Riot banners I would see in venues hanging, people I would run into that were his friends, etc..,

I will always remember our extended conversations on drums, he was arguably the most knowledgeable drummer I have ever met on Ludwig Drums. He had 5 drums from here, and used them live which is a memory here I will never forget. As well, we had great conversations on our mutual love of the Teas of the world.

RIP Frankie Banali....You were an incredibly kind and beautiful soul.....And one of the greatest Rock drummers of all-time....
