David recently released his solo album "Shapes". Rooted in Jazz & Blues...It is an incredible record that I have listened through at least four times now. It is an all-star assembly of musicians, and is a record I will refer back to often.

RODNEY EDMONDSON-LIVE WITH RONNIE MILSAP-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14.....

I had an incredible time last weekend with Nashville legend Rodney Edmondson here in Wisconsin. The 2020 Ronnie Milsap tour rolled through here, and I could not have been more delighted about that.

Rodney had along his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 for the tour, and the band, and this show, is one that everyone should see if they have not. It was amazing, nostalgic, heartwarming....And is a true representation of what entertainment and music should be. 

Thank You for the great time Rodney, and for the introduction to Ronnie. Elizabeth and I appreciated this evening more than you know. You are like everyone say's you are....Your an incredible person, and drummer.

LARRY MITCHELL-NEW SINGLE WITH THE STRAY CAT LEE ROCKER-DOG HOUSE SHUFFLE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15....

Lee Rocker just put out his new single Dog House Shuffle, and wanted to send out a huge Thank You to Larry Mitchell for using his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 on this. 

The song is a knockout, and it is true to form of the incredible musicianship that this whole band holds. I will be seeing them again this Spring, and it is a show that I am really looking forward to.

Larry has used his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 as one of his mains for the last three years, and he will be using a new addition starting in Spring 2020. It is tailored to his style, and the music. Adding in his unbelievable talent....It will surely be an interesting first show with it when I see him.

BOBBY MACINTYRE OF STUDIO 71 RECORDS-LIVE WITH NIL LARA-BEIER 1.5 STEEL 15" SERIES.....

The mega-talented, and widely respected drummer and engineer....Bobby Macintyre of Studio 71 Records....Has been busy as always these day's. 

He has been out live with Nil Lara, and as always it was great to hear he had along one of his four Beier 1.5 Steel-15" Snare Drums. The last show he had his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 15 along. That seems to be out the most often with him for that gig, but he has used all of them in different capacities live, and in the studio. He is one of two players to have all four of the 15" drums from here, and he uses them as his main always.

EDDIE BAYERS-LIFETIME FEATURE MOVIE-SONY PICTURES-PATSY & LORETTA-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 13..

In recently picked up a copy of Sony Pictures Lifetime Feature Movie...Patsy & Loretta. It is an incredible film and soundtrack, and I really loved it.

Wanted to send out a very special Thank You to one of the most recorded and beloved drummers of all time...Eddie Bayers. Eddie used his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 13 for the soundtrack to this film, and this was truly an honor. The drum is also #1 of 1 in Black Nickel, and was made especially for him.

MICHAEL GRANDO-LIVE WITH JOE DIFFIE IN WISCONSIN-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15....

I recently had an incredibly fun time seeing Nashville great & friend, Michael Grando. He was in town on tour with Joe Diffie, and it has been some time since I have seen him live.

Michael had along his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 which he has used live in rotation for years. It is one of the few in Gloss White. I was introduced to him years ago by drumming legend Pat McDonald. 

Thanks Again Michael for a great time, and for having that drum out with you. Your chops & this band have always been off the charts. Hoping you guys will shy around soon.....

JOCHEN BAUER OF HEAVENS A BEER-THANK YOU MY FRIEND.....

Special Thanks going out to Jochen Bauer of Germany based Heaven's A Beer. I recently received a package that contained merch. of the band, and a copy of their brand new CD: Afelinator. 

Jochen used one of his three snare drums on this entire record from Beier Drums....The 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14. He also uses a 1.5 Steel--8 x 14 & 8 x 15. All of the drums are his exclusive drums for all live, and studio work.

UFO-LAST ORDERS 50TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR-FEBRUARY DATES ANNOUNCED-ANDY PARKER-BEIER DRUMS....

To a chorus of approval from their fans and the press, British legends UFO announced further dates for this February on their Last Orders-50th Anniversary Tour. 

This tour has been a sell-out from start to finish, and it has brought out some of the biggest names in music to see them, or join them on stage for some songs. Kirk Hammett of Metallica, who cites UFO as his heroes, was one of them (see link below). UFO by far is one of the most influential bands in Rock History, and have been cited as an influence by literally an endless number of bands.

Andy Parker as always will have one of his many snare drums from Beier Drums along for this tour, and as he has since Day 1 of using them...Over 10 years ago. Looking forward to seeing them this February big time...

GARRETT GOODWIN-LIVE IN CHICAGO-CARRIE UNDERWOOD'S CRY PRETTY 360 TOUR-CMA AWARDS-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--7.5 X 15....

Last week I had the opportunity to see one of the greatest drummers from Nashville, and one of the nicest guys I know live...Garrett Goodwin. Carrie Underwood's Cry Pretty Tour 360 was coming to Chicago, and I had really been looking forward to this. 

Garrett had his 1.5 Steel--7.5 x 15 along as part of his kit, and it was a complete thrill to see and hear this. Previously on Carrie Underwood's 2016 The Storyteller Tour: Stories In The Round, he had used a number of his snare drums from Beier Drums. I saw that show twice, and it was as spectacular as this one. Tonight at the CMA Awards he will be using his 1.5 Steel--7.5 x 15, and I would not miss this for anything.

LIGHTS OUT-SURVIVING THE 70'S WITH UFO-BY MARTIN POPOFF-ANDY PARKER-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14-SAM LUMSDEN

I received a really nice message yesterday from Scotland based drumming virtuoso....Sam Lumsden of First Class Drums. 

Martin Popoff released Lights Out-Surviving The 70's With UFO in 2017, and I was unaware of this. Sam spotted some more recent images in the book, and I was thrilled to learn it included one with Andy with his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14.

Andy was one of the first artists to take that drum on the road, and it was also one of the first I manufactured here. The 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 has been his main for his US rig for almost 10 years, the 1.5 Steel--5.5,x 14 has been his main for the same amount of time on his European rig. He also used a 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 15 on the road, and currently uses his 1.5 Steel--8 x 14 as a main as well in both Europe, and the US.

I recently as well saw UFO for two nights in Chicago, and the shows were met with rave reviews, as all of them have. I am hoping, as all of their fans across the world are....That UFO will continue to schedule more dates on their 50th Anniversary-Last Orders Tour.

JARAN SORENSON-LIVE WITH BLACKHAWK-HARD ROCK TULSA-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 15....

Jaran Sorenson recently started using his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15 live with Blackhawk, and according to him...He absolutely loves it. He also has a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 12 and a 4 x 15 which he has used extensively live with Blackhawk, and The Outlaws. He is dual drumming with Southern Rock Legend Monte Yoho in The Outlaws who has used his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 for almost ten years now exclusively. 

It has been a while since I have seen either one of these amazing bands live, and I am hoping to soon. Thank You Jaran for all of your support & feedback. Will see you , Monte, and the band soon!

MIKE DAWSON-LIVE AND IN THE STUDIO WITH SHANE GAMBLE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 15....

One of my long-time favorites..Shane Gamble and his band, had a extremely busy Summer as always. They also were in the studio as well, and it was very exciting to know Mike Dawson had his Beier 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 15 along with him for the upcoming new record. That drum, and the 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15 are the two most often used by him live, and in the studio when the drums are selected for a project.
