Kyle Chirgwin recently passed away in his home on Cape Cod. He will be missed by many....
Kyle was the host of Side B Deeper Cuts on WOMR 92.1 FM in Provincetown, and was a very important figure in the international community of fans of British rock legends UFO. He had a great personal friendship with members of the band, and their music was regularly featured on his program for years. Elizabeth and him were friends for many years, and she was a frequent guest on his show with her extensive knowledge and history with the band. We visited Kyle with fans from around the US, and it was an incredibly fun time.
In addition to his duties as a DJ, Kyle was also a very successful business owner in the towing industry on Cape Cod, an author of two children's books, a great husband to his departed wife Lisa, an animal advocate, a drummer, and just was an all-around great guy.
It was great to know you Kyle...You were one of the good guys. R.I.P......
