ENRIQUE SORVILL-LIVE WITH TWISTED ENVY IN MIAMI-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14.......

It was great to hear from Miami based  Enrique Sorvill recently. He is back out on the live circuit with a new band...Twisted Envy, and it was so great to hear this. He formerly held the seat behind his kit for 22 North.

Enrique had along his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 which has been his main for years. He was referred to my drums from industry great-Tony Escapa (Ricky Martin) who I was delighted to hear from recently as well. 

It is always incredible for me to see drummers refer back and select my drums for their work. That was the intention of Beier Drums...To make drums that players remembered: In Their Ears. This band is great, lit up, and as always I am looking forward to following their posts and live clips. I will be posting a live clip of the band when the new video player is up on the site.

TOM LOPPNOW-LIVE WITH ONE LOUDER-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14........

I recently got to see long time supporter and friend Tom Loppnow live with One Louder. He picked up a new 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 I had in stock to replace a drum that unfortunately had been stolen. That drum had been his main for many years live, and in the studio. He was missing the vibe of his drum, gave me a call, and it was so great to touch base with him again. It has been a bit. 

Tom is currently behind the kit with his new band,  One Louder. They are a complete knockout of a live act, they are primarily an 80's Tribute Band. The audience response to them is huge, they have an extremely busy schedule, and every single person in this band is just a stellar Musician. 

The band is based in the area, and I am really looking forward to seeing them live soon again. Thank You Tom...It is always so great to see you. Congratulations to you and the band...You all will do incredibly well.....

CANADIAN LEGEND CHAD MELCHERT-ON THE ROAD-IN THE STUDIO-LONG & MCQUADE DRUM CLINIC-NEW RELEASES-BEIER 1.5 STEEL SERIES............

I lost count quite some time ago on how many times I have said Thank You to Canadian legend, and long time pal, Chad Melchert. Since stepping down from touring full-time with Gord Bamford, he is busier than ever with in his Abbigail Road Drum Studio, performing at select live dates, and doing clinics. He is the epitome of a professional, is a 5 time CCMA Drummer Of The Year winner, is the first drummer to ever be inducted into the CCMA Hall Of Honor. and is one of the most sought after session and live drummers in Canada.

He has recently been out doing live dates, and did a clinic for Long & McQuade. Just wanted to send out a massive Thank You to him for having one of his Beier 1.5 Steel Series snare drum along. In this case it was his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 which has been a long time favorite of his. I am getting ready to follow up with him on the sessions that I have noted for all of the new releases he has used the drums on as well. I have done this for years with him, and recorded material is, and always has been, paramount in importance to me.   

Cheers to my pal Chad Melchert...It is always so incredible to see your friends fly high, and he is doing just that. But with being the Musician & person that he is...It is the inevitable, and completely unavoidable. Smile.

BOB TRESSLER-LIVE WITH THE NEW WHISKEY RIVER BAND-SPRING-SUMMER-FALL 2024 TOUR SCHEDULE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14......

I stay in touch with long time supporter Bob Tressler, the drummer for The New Whiskey River Band. I recently told him I hoped the band had a full Summer of live dates. As always...They do, and was so happy to see this. The band is based in upstate New York, and keeps a busy schedule in the region. They are a great draw, and are a great band.

Bob picked up a 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 years ago, and it has been his main since Day 1. I love watching their live clips, and I am looking forward to adding them to the new video player which will be on the front of the site soon.

Thanks Again my friend for everything. Have a fun Summer...Please do let me know if you happen into Chicago sometime soon. It would be amazing to get together.....

GREGG LOHMAN LIVE ON RFDTV WITH EASTON CORBIN-1.5 STEEL ANNIVERSARY DRUM--4.75 X 15.....

Gregg Lohman recently appeared live with Easton Corbin on RFDTV, and the band was, as always...Incredible. They are easily one of Country's Music Finest...And have been for quite some time.

THE BEIER 1.5 STEEL ANNIVERSARY DRUM-4.74 x 15...PRODUCTION TO RESUME THIS MONTH....

Production is set to resume on the Beier 1.5 Steel Anniversary Drum this month. The chrome snare side hoops for 15" drums were out of stock throughout the industry, but are now back in stock. 

I am really, really looking forward to making a new set of shells, and will be producing this drum indefinitely. I want to put put a huge Thank You as well to all of you that have been so patient in the making and availability of this drum.

Production will start at #8, and I will be doing 5-10 at a time. They will be available in Chrome, Brass, or Black Nickel. The parts for the Brass and Black Nickel are subject to availability, but for now they are available. The drum in Chrome is $650.00, in Brass or Black Nickel it is $750.00.

PETER RESLINSKI IN BLUEPRINTS STUDIO WITH CHRIS KNOWLES IN CANADA-LIVE WITH THE THE MAN IN BLACK JOHNNY CASH TRIBUTE & TEA TIME DRIVE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14-- & 1.5 STEEL--4.75 X 15 #7 ANNIVERSARY DRUM-#1 IN BRASS

Peter Reslinski (Bill Durst, Parallel 49) is out live again after a hiatus, and was also in the studio several weeks ago with Chris Knowles in Canada. 

Peter has been a long time pal and player of Beier Drums. He currently has a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 12, 5.5 x 14, 7.5 x 15, and also has #7 of the 4.75 x 15 Anniversary Drum-#1 in Brass. He also was one of the first players to use the 1.5 Steel--7.5 x 15 as well. He selected his 5.5 x 14 for his show with The Man In Black Johnny Cash Tribute and for his studio session with Chris Knowles, and his 4.75 x 15 Anniversary Drum for the show with Tea Time Drive.

It is so great to see you out again my friend, and I cannot wait to hear the release with Chris Knowles. I have tuned in for a long time for his awesome releases from Parallel 49 like all of us. Thank You for everything Peter, and I am looking forward big time to getting your feedback on the Anniversary Drum.....
