THE OUTLAWS RELEASE DIXIE HIGHWAY-MONTE YOHO & JARAN SORENSON-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14 & 4 X 15

One of the greatest bands in Southern Rock history, The Outlaws, just released their latest studio album, Dixie Highway....

Log time pal, Southern Rock legend, and co-founder of the band, Monte Yoho, used his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 on this record. That same drum has been his live main for many years for the band, and for all live shows with Blackhawk. It was also used on The Outlaws-Legacy Live. That record, is arguably one of the best live records of the last 20 years. Monte is retiring from the road, and I am going to miss my friend. He is someone who took me in in the early day's, is a die-hard loyalist, truly loved my drums, and he unfailingly stayed in touch. I was a fan of The Outlaws as kid, and to have him play my drums all of these years was a surreal experience for me. I will miss our drum discussions, but we will always stay in touch.

Nashville great, consummate pro, and all-around class-act Jaran Sorenson, used his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 on this record. This is one of three drums from here he has. He also has performed live with his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15, a 6.5 x 14, and his 5.5 x 12 with Blackhawk which he currently performs with as well as The Outlaws. I hit it off big time with Jaran the first time we met, and he has been one of the greatest ever to deal with. He is an amazing drummer, and there is little doubt he will continue to light up the stage with The Outlaws & Blackhawk for quite some time to come.

Thank You Both!
