UFO-50TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR-LAST ORDERS-ANDY PARKER-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14, 6.5 X 14, 8 X 14....

British Rock Legends UFO are getting ready to start their 50th Anniversary Last Orders Tour. The European dates are out, there will be more added, and the US Dates are just starting to be released. Andy Parker will have a number of his snare drums from Beier Drums on both his European & US rig. Andy has used those drums on countless tours and records as his only main for the last 10 years.

This is a most anticipated tour, and UFO fans are among the most loyal in music. As well, the band has been cited as a major influence among the biggest performers in Rock for many years including Iron Maiden, Firehouse, Tesla, Slash....The list is literally endless. Andy was one of my drum heroes as a kid, I saw them when I was 14 for the first time. Seeing them, which I have numerous times, is always a full-circle experience for me. Any drum maker, who gets to see one of their drum heroes choose their drums as their primary main for everything later in life...Is a very fortunate drum maker.

I will have a number of updates on this tour of course, and will be in Scotland in March with them with Elizabeth. Stay Tuned!

MIKE COLLINS-METTS-RYAN & COLLINS--NAMM 2019-ARENA PLAZA STAGE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14...

I was not at NAMM 2019, but I was really fortunate to have a number of drums in performances there.

One was Mike Collins (Metts, Ryan & Collins, Throwback Suburbia, Dilana, Earl Slick) live with one of my favorite Rock Power Trio's ever...Metts, Ryan & Collins. The performed on the Arena Plaza Stage, and always knock it our big live. Mike had his long time main-1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14, and also uses a 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 live and in the studio.

TRACY BROUSSARD-BLAKE SHELTON-FRIENDS AND HEROES TOUR-2019-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14 & 5.5 X 12....

Blake Shelton's 2019 Friends & Heroes Tour just started, and want to send out a big Thank You this afternoon to a Nashville legend, and one of the all-time great guy's in music-Tracy Broussard.

Tracy has along for this tour his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 as his main, and a new 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 12. This will be the fifth consecutive tour he has used my snare drums as a main, and that has been incredible for me.

LARRY MITCHELL-LIVE AT NAMM 2019 WITH BUZZ CAMPBELL-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15...

Larry Mitchell recently played at the Gretsch NAMM-After-Show with Buzz Campbell, and this is of no surprise here. When your as great of a player as he is, it is the inevitable.

Larry is also the touring drummer for Lee Rocker, and has been using a 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 as one his mains since Summer of 2017. 

I stay in touch with Larry, and am anxious for them to come back the Midwest. This is a band that literally everyone, no matter what your musical leanings are....Has to see.

DANNY THOMPSON-LIVE WITH ALAN PARSONS-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15......

A short time ago, I had the the honor of seeing Danny Thompson live with Alan Parsons. It has been some time since I have seen him and this band live, and it was just so great to see him again.

Danny was one of the players that gave me a shot in the early day's, and has used a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 on numerous tours with Alan Parsons. He also just started with a 1.5 Steel--4 x 15, and that has gone over big with him, and the sound crew for the band.

Thank You Again Danny for a great time, your support, and your friendship. Elizabeth had an amazing time, and was truly floored at how great you all are. I am counting the days until the new album is out...I will never stop telling you how much I appreciated you using the 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 on it....

MATTHIAS MONTGOMERY....BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 15.....

Matthias Montgomery (Johnny Gioeli, Brad Gillis Solo Project) is working on the release of a live album, among many things these day's. He sampled his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 15 for it, and will certainly update this when it is released. Matthias has had an extensive and incredible career, and it is very exciting to have that drum in his talented hands.
