Danny Thompson is currently out on the road with the Alan Parsons Live Project. He has his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 with him, and has been using that drum with Alan Parsons and side projects for almost a year now. The pics below are from several weeks ago when they were in Florida. There also is a link below for a live clip I took last year. Danny is a superbly talented player, and this entire band simply has to be seen to be believed.
Thank You Danny for using the drum. Great to see you had the Aquarian Texture Coated Heads-Black on the drum. Have been using a lot of the Aquarian Texture Coated lately along with the Classic Clear Snare Side Heads, and they truly are excellent. Very natural and open sounding.
