Just sent one of the first 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15 in Gloss White to Music City Asheville. Gloss White is standard color in the 4 x 15, and decided to do a few other sizes in the color. The sound does not vary with the different color, and the comments have all been hugely positive. The 5.5 x 15 overall has done extremely well.
The drum sent to Music City Asheville has my Retro Lugs which have been standard on all of my 5.5" drums. I have done several in that size with Tube Lugs as well, and am considering offering them with Tube Lugs as an option, or only with them. I guess I will let all of you decide!
