STEVEN SWEET-WARRANT-LET THE GOOD TIMES ROCK TOUR 2024-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14......

Rock legend, Steven Sweet of Warrant, is back out on the road with the band for their 2024 Let The Good Times Rock Tour. It was a huge and pleasant surprise to see when his kit stored in the region came out, Thanks to Eric Domegall, it had his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 along with it. 

I have known Steven for a lot of years now, and over that time he has incorporated his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 & 1.5 Steel--8 x 15 into his live kit at times, and brought the drums in the studio for their 2017 release: Louder-Harder-Faster. He is an amazing Musician, and person, and I have wonderful memories of this incredible band live and those times. I was introduced to him by another beloved legend throughout this business: Michael Foster of Firehouse. 

Hopefully this Fall I will be seeing Warrant live again in Chicago. Thank You Again Steven and Eric.....!

MATTHEW RHYNER LIVE IN WAUSAU WITH BRAD EMANUEL-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14.....

Touched base recently with Matthew Rhyner (Sammy Llanas, Appleton Music Academy, Brad Emanuel). I always stay in touch with him to see what he is up to Musically. He is such a great guy and Musician.

Last week he was live with Brad Emanuel in Wausau, and he had along his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14. That drum has always been one of his live choices for some years now. But he told me he has been using it on almost everything now, and that was so great to hear 

I have had the privilege of seeing Matthew live with Music legend Sammy Llanas on several occasions with that drum, and I am hoping to catch them live this Summer.

PETER RESLINSKI-NEW RELEASE-PSYCHOPOMP WITH SCOTT VAN TEEFFELEN & CHRIS KNOWLES-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14.....

Congratulations going out to Peter Reslinski, Scott Van Teeffelen & Chris Knowles on their new release: Psychopomp. Knockout tune, musicianship & production. A truly stellar recorded performance, which one would of course expect from a gathering of Musicians of this caliber. 

Peter Reslinski (Bill Durst, Parallel 49) selected his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 for the single, and he has also used that drum live on many occasions. He was also one of the first players to use a 1.5 Steel--7.5 x 15 live, has a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 12, and just recently picked up the #1 in Brass of the Beier Anniversary Drum--1.5 Steel--4.75 x 15.

TOMMY RICKARD-NEW SINGLE FROM VAIN & FULL ALBUM RELEASED-DISINTEGRATE TOGETHER-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14......

Industry great, Tommy Rickard (Vain, Scott Weiland) joined Vain again in the studio for their latest release-Disintegrate Together. Cold Like Snow was the single released from the album.

Tommy was one of the original members of Vain, and he had used his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 on their last release also-Rolling With The Punches.. As well, he has used that drum, and his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 in live performances with Vain at the M3 Festival, Dee Snider, Kesha, The Butlers, and other Artists. Recorded work with his Beier Snare Drums include Kingsborough, E.L. Davis, Drew Pinchotti, and the smash soundtrack from Disney's Muppet Mayhem. Kinsborough's work has been featured in All Rise on CBS.

Tommy's work span decades with countless Artists and records, and I am always thrilled to hear when he selects my gear for his work. He is the consummate  Pro & Class Musician. Congratulations on this record Tommy...I absolutely loved it. It is an honor my friend...Thank You So Much....

PAUL ASCIUTTO'S BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15 UP FOR SALE-JARAN SORENSONS LIVE DRUM FOR BLACKHAWK-STUDIO DRUM FOR BLACKHAWK AND THE OUTLAWS....

The former drum tech for The Outlaws is selling his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15. Paul got in touch, he really is not playing much at this point and is looking to pass it along. The drum was purchased from Nashville great, Jaran Sorenson, who Paul was the tech for. Jaran used it live occasionally with The Outlaws, and extensively with Blackhawk live. It is also on Blackhawks last release-Blue Highway, and on The Outlaws Dixie Highway.

KASEY TODD-LIVE IN NASHVILLE WITH MICHAEL LOGEN & 615 COLLECTIVE-BLOOMIN BBQ & MUSIC FEST-WOMENS TRIATHLON-ADAM MCDONOUGH-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15....

Kasey Todd (Aaron Goodvin, Tonic, Jave Everett) is a massive industry and Musical talent, and as always...He is high demand playing everywhere with everyone...As always! 

He recently had out one his long time mains, his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15, for a set of shows in Nashville. That drum has seen live use with a long lost of artists, and it was great to check in with Kasey, it has been a bit. Elizabeth & I had the honor of seeing him live with Aaron Goodvin, and am so hoping to see him again soon. It was such a great time.

TRACY BROUSSARD-LIVE WITH ZACH RAY-BEIER 1.5 STEEL SERIES......

Nashville legend, and one of the all-time great guys in this business....Tracy Broussard (Blake Shelton), is out doing live dates with Zach Ray. I was so happy as always to see him include one of his four Beier Snare Drums that he has used non-stop for years now. 

One of the drums that he is using with Zach is his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 10. Tracy is one of a handful of players to have this drum, and this drum of course is out of production and was retired in June 2021 with the rest of the original line. It will never cease to amaze me how much this drum is utilized by the players that have them. The other players that have them are David Northrup (Joe Nichols, Oak Ridge Boys, Rick Derringer, Boz Scaggs, Travis Tritt, Wynonna), Kent Slucher (Luke Bryan), Gary Keith Johnson (Lohden Boys, Canopus Drums), and there is one other one and I do not know where/whom it is with right now. I won't ever make one of these again, and is it is really wonderful for me to see them in use constantly.

DANIEL BERMUDEZ-SPRING US TOUR WITH WILT-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14.....

Daniel Bermudez just got off the road from a Spring Tour across the US with Wilt. He had out a 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 as his main, and I was so happy to hear how much he liked the drum. I would have loved to have caught the band live mid April in Chicago, and am hoping to in the future when they come around again. 

His father, Demetrius Bermudez, is a legendary TM in the industry, and I have known him for years. I have met a lot of TM's in my day, and he is not only one of the most professional and experienced, he is one of the nicest ones as well.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND FROM BEIER DRUMS-REMEMBER AND HONOR.....

 

 

GERMANY'S THOMAS NUSSBAUM-LIVE WITH JUST4YOU-SUMMER DATES-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14....

German great, and long time pal Thomas Nussbaum (Just4You, Feeling Floyd Live, T), just published his set-up for this Summer with Just4You in Germany. I was so happy to see him include his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 in his set-up. He also has a 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 & 6.5 x 15 which he has used live. 

I have always stayed in touch with Thomas, I love hearing and listening to what he is up to Musically, and check in with life in general.

Elizabeth and I met up with him in Scotland along with Sam Lumsden for the UFO Tour, and we had an absolute blast. It really was unforgettable, and was one of the few chances that we all could get together and see the band together and visit with them.  

Have a great run Thomas. Elizabeth says "Hi!!". Will really look forward to the pics from the dates....
