JULES RADINO-ATT AUDIENCE NETWORK-BLUE OYSTER CULT-1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14...

Blue Oyster Cult recently taped a show for ATT Audience Network that aired on September 2nd. It was recorded at Red Studios in Los Angeles, & they were performing their legendary album Agents Of Fortune in it's entirety.

Jules Radino has been using my snare drums a lot for the last three years, and plays live on the road with a 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14. For that show, he used that drum as well. He also has and has used his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15 & 4 x 15 live with BOC, and with other bands.

It is so great these guys come around often to this area. They are a very enduring and popular act, and arguably are one of the most influential bands in the history of Rock. I lost track a long time ago the number of bands out there that have stated they were inspired & influenced by them. I always marvel at how great they are live, and always have the best time with them. They are pretty hilarious to be around, and it is a lot fun catching up. Add to that, they recently have been taking Jim Mears out with them. Jim is, hands down, one of the best TM' and Drum Tech's out there, and is an excellent drummer to boot.

Thanks Again Jules Radino for everything. See you all soon....

JASON HARTLESS & RANDY WALKER-TED NUGENT'S SONIC BAPTIZM TOUR-1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14....

I recently got to see Ted Nugent live, and had the good fortune to be able to have my 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 on this tour as a back-up snare for Pearl Artist-Jason Hartless.

Long time friend, and huge supporter...Randy Walker has always been a big believer in what I am up to here at Beier Drums. He introduced me to Jason, as well as many others. He currently has three of my drums in his studio-Media 22 Productions in Scottsdale, AZ. His 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15 is his primary go-to as well. October will also bring him into a 1.5 Steel--8 x 14. Randy is a multi-dimensional talented drummer & engineer. He has performed live with Pat Travers, with Eddie Money unplugged, & played on Steve Oliver's hit record "World Citizen," on "Watching The World". For that he used one of my drums as well. He also has done extensive engineering & studio work with David Ellefson, Tesla, and a slew of others.

Jason Hartless is already widely known in the early phases of his career, and for good reason. Bottom line, and to repeat something I have said many times since the show: He is the finest drummer Ted Nugent has ever taken out on tour. All of Nugent's bands have been great....Always. But this line-up, with Greg Smith again on Bass....Is unmatched. And it is one those deals, like we all have experienced, you know it from the first song into the set. I was thinking..."Whoa....Here we go....!"

Jason is constantly involved in studio work back home in Michigan, has worked with numerous accomplished producers and drummers, and is also a student at Berklee. He is, quite simply, just an incredibly talented & knowledgeable player from A-Z. To have my 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 out on the road with him was awesome. I have watched his studio clips before, and they are great. But live......He just lights it up, in a very big way.

Thanks Again For Everything Jason & Randy. You guys better roll through here next year. This was too good of a time not to repeat!

DAVID NORTHRUP-CLINCS-SESSIONS-LIVE WITH THE OAK RIDGE BOYS...BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 12, 5.5 X 14, 6.5 X 14.....

One of Nashville's all-time greats, David Northrup, has been incredibly busy lately. He has been doing multiple sessions, clinics, and is on the road with the Oak Ridge Boys. And for all of this, he has been using almost all of his snares from Beier Drums. This includes his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 & 5.5 x 14, and the new 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 12.

The new drum he encouraged me to do, and I am so happy I took his advice. It just simply could not have turned out better. The initial reviews from players has been incredible, and the drum is now available at Fork's in Nashville.

November will see him in yet another drum from Beier Drums-The 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 15. Really looking forward to seeing you David, and the Oak Ridge Boys Christmas Show. This will be the third season in a row I have seen it, and to be honest....I cannot imagine Christmas without it!!

See you then....Thank You Again For Everything. Your a good friend, incredible talent, and a great inspiration to me and many others....

SEAN PADDOCK-KENNY CHESNEY SPREAD THE LOVE TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 12....

Nashville legend Sean Paddock was in town here on the biggest tour of the Summer: Kenny Chesney's Spread The Love Tour. I was lucky enough to be welcome for the day, and to a show that I will certainly never forget.

It was quite a day of discussion and showing me around the inner-workings of an operation like this. Sean is extremely accommodating....Like all all top-tier players are. He really took time out to go through his kit, what he plays and why, his extensive use of gear from the past & present, and to discuss the music & drum business in general. Incredible time....Incredible live show.

He also started using one of my new drums several weeks ago: The 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 12. The drum went up for the first time at Centurylink Field, and he absolutely loves it. I used an Evans G12 and Evans 300 on it. The 5.5 x 12 is part of a new line I will be releasing here this Fall.

I am extremely happy you like this drum so much Sean. I so appreciate you taking time out, and am really looking forward to staying in touch. Shout out to Sean's tech Melvin Fults as well. Looking forward to talking drums with you next time! Thanks also to someone who has been an unfailingly great friend to me, and the reason I had this opportunity...Troy Luccketta.

"I pulled it out of the box, tuned it up, and 'BAM'...There it is. Instant pop, exactly what I was looking for. Jim has the magic touch with these bad boys...."

KEITH ZEBROSKI-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14-MIRANDA LAMBERT-KEEPER OF THE FLAME TOUR....

All-star pro, Keith Zebroski, recently fired up his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 for the first time at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. This was a show with Miranda Lambert on her Keeper Of The Flame 2016 Tour. The result...I was thrilled about. He absolutely loved the drum, and will be using it as his main. The band is also on Kenny Chesney's Spread The Love Tour this summer, and the drum will be used on that tour as well. I got to see Keith live during their set here in Miller Park also.

Keith requested the drum to be equipped with an Evans B14 HD Batter, Evans 300 snare side, and a set of Puresound Custom Pro Series Brass 24 Strand wires. I have been working a lot with Evans heads lately, and they unfailingly deliver live.

Thank You so much for everything Keith. I am really looking forward to the next time the band is in town, and again....I  cannot tell you how happy I was to hear how much you like that drum. A huge Thank You going out as well to Sean Paddock for the introduction.....

TRACY BROUSSARD-LIVE WITH BLAKE SHELTON-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14.....

This time of year is usually a very busy time here for me, and this Summer has been exceptionally busy. Nashville titan Tracy Broussard rolled through town with Blake Shelton, & I had the great opportunity to sit down with him.

Tracy has become a big fan of his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14, and currently is using it on the 2016 Tour. I had such a fun time at this show...It was ridiculous. He is an incredible player, and the discussions during the day, and his performance during the show, were both just amazing.

Tracy's drum is equipped with Aquarian Heads, of which I am a huge fan of. The batter is a Triple Threat, and the snare side is a High Performance. It seems these day's at least half of the players are requesting Aquarian Heads, and for good reason from my experience. Every single one of the different types I have used...I absolutely love. They are of extreme quality, and their hoops on the heads, are some of the best.

Tracy....Thank You Again for everything. Looking forward to seeing the band again very soon. Big shout out to Russ Whitman here. Russ is currently on tour with Craig Morgan and his three Beier snare drums. I really appreciate and value you taking time out for my gear, and for the referral.....
