BRAD ELVIS & THE HANDCUFFS-LIVE IN CHICAGO....BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 15.....

I have lost count on how many times I have tried to catch Brad Elvis (The Handcuffs, The Romantics, Screams, The Elvis Brothers) live again. Luckily, I got to see his and Chloe Orwell's band...The Handcuffs, twice downtown Chicago at festivals recently. 

I saw this band years ago, and have always loved their vibe. They are also working on a new album, this will be their fourth studio release to date. Brad has four drums from Beier Drums. He is using several in recording the new record, and used his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15 live for both shows in Chicago. He has also has performed live with The Romantics with the drums in Chicago.

I want to say Thank You once more Brad & Chloe for the mention between songs about Beier Drums. That meant a lot to me, and it was really wonderful to see you both. This band is as smokin as ever, and I will be picking up your new record the minute it comes out.

TED NUGENT LIVE-JASON HARTLESS AND RANDY WALKER....THANK YOU......

Ted Nugents 2019 The Music Made Me Do It Again Tour this Summer brought two of my favorite people in this business around again....Randy Walker and Jason Hartless. 

Randy Walker is a long-time pal, and currently owns four snare drums from Beier Drums. He is the drum tech for Jason Hartless, is also the owner of Media 22 Productions, and has a long list of media credits including Dave Ellefson (Megadeth), George Benson, Tesla, and many others. He used a Beier Snare on Steve Oliver's chart topping World Citizen on Watching The World, and has performed live unplugged with Eddie Money and others.

I used to think Jason Hartless was 20 years ahead of his time. But honestly...It is more like 30 now. He is an amazing and stunning talent, and has a style that literally is his own. His depth of knowledge of technique and playing is unreal at this stage of his career, actually unprecedented from my viewpoint. This band, and this will be the third year in row I have said this and meant...Is Ted Nugent's best band EVER. Add in an extraordinary talent and legend like Greg Smith on Bass...It is a show unlike any other.  

Guy's...It was such a great time, and Thank You as always for taking time out. Elizabeth said Thank You as well! I am looking forward to the next tour already....

FRANK VILARDI-BACON BROTHERS SHAKY GROUND TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15..

Frank Vilardi (Bacon Brothers, Donny Osmond, Jewel) is currently out on the road in his long-time seat he has held with the Bacon Brothers. He selected his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 for this tour, and has used a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 & 6.5 x 14 on countless shows and records before with the band.

Thanks Again Frank. I was so sorry to miss the shows in Chicago...But will certainly see you soon. As well...I loved the new single "Play! Have a great run.....

Nashville Star Gregg Lohmann just played in Woodstock, Illinois live, and it was so great to catch him with Easton Corbin. This band, and I have said it many times...Simply Owns It. I am really Thankful they get in range here on and off...Just a must see and listen for everyone.

Gregg as well, by far, is one of the most well thought of and popular people in Nashville. He is hugely respected for his drumming, and as a person. It really is an honor that he has included 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 in his live performances.

DAVID NORTHRUP-RICK DERRINGER 2019 TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14 & 5.5 X 12....

Nashville legend David Northrup (Travis Tritt, Oak Ridge Boys, Boz Scaggs, Rick Derringer) is out on the road with Rick Derringer, and wanted to send out a huge Thank You to him for including his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 & 5.5 x 12 in these shows. As always to note...David is the one who encouraged me to finish the first 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 12 that I manufactured. 

I am keeping my fingers crossed this band comes close to here...I simply have to see it! The recent video clips of them are off the hook. Add in Tony Nagy on bass who I am a fan of from The Damon Johnson Band...It simply is a musical slam dunk.

Could not be more delighted that Mark Capps is working with his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 this week. He is recording Highroad in his Nashville studio with the drum.

Mark is a multi Platinum/Grammy Award winning producer who carries an enormous amount of respect in Nashville. I simply cannot wait to hear these tracks, and all that he will create with this drum.

Canadian great...Theodore Brown (Sonny Rhodes, Selwyn Birchwood)....Was out for a three day run with Charlie Jacobson here recently. It was wonderful to see he had his primary main-Beier 1.5 Steel--8 x 15 with him. That drum has seen extensive use by Theodore for live performances, & his clinics.

Thank You Theodore...So great to see you out live. Hoping to make it to Saskatoon very soon, and am  really, really hoping that will coincide with a live show.....!

FIREHOUSE LIVE IN WISCONSIN.....THANK YOU......

Firehouse rolled through Wisconsin recently, and as always...They lit the stage up big, and were met with huge approval from the audience. From instrumentation, vocals, and harmonies...It was just an incredible show from A-Z.

They have always been one of my all-time favorite bands, and they are also some of my all-time favorite people as well. They are always on their game, unfailingly great to be around, and they take time out for everyone...No matter who you are. This band cares a great deal about their fans, and they have not missed that step in over 25 years.

BRENDAN LYONS OF CANADA-LIVE WITH HIS BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15.....

The widely respected & multi-talented Brendan Lyons, recently acquired a 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 in Canada. I heard from him recently when he got the drum, he was really excited to have it. He has had it on the road ever since, and is tracking with it already as well.

I have watched his posts regularly online, and always found them of huge interest. He is a very insightful, & incredibly skilled player that is purely focused on the creation of music. I am thrilled he is sitting behind a 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 now, and as I told him...I cannot wait to hear what he creates with it live, and in the studio.

ACHIM FAERBER-LIVE WITH PETER HEPPNER AT THE AUTOSTADT-WOLFSBURG-GERMANY-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 13

One of Europe's finest, and long time pal....Achim Faerber (Peter Heppner, Automat, Eisbrecher, Project Pitchfork) took his #1-1.5 Steel--4 x 13 out on the road with Peter Heppner. He was explaining the gig to me at the Autostadt....And it sounded like an incredible place to play live. 

Achim has also used a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 for years as his main with Project Pitchfork, Automat, and on countless studio records. As well, he has, and has used, one of the early 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15' from here also.

Sounds like you are having a great time my friend, and am so happy you have connected to that drum. Anxiously awaiting the new album by Automat as well.....Thank You.....!
