LEMUEL HAYES LIVE-NICKI BLUHM 2018 TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 15....

Nicki Bluhm's 2018 tour recently stopped in Milwaukee, and I was extremely happy I was able to make it to this show....

Nashville based Lemuel Hayes was behind the kit, and he had along his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15 which he recently picked up. He is using the drum as an auxiliary, and as a main on select tunes. This band was knockout-great, and I also really enjoyed my pre-show visit with him and Kenosha,WI based Tim Baltes. Lots of great Drum Talk!

JOCHEN BAUER-HEAVENS A BEER-NEW VIDEO FROM NURBURGRING SPEEDWAY-GERMANY-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14...

Jochen Bauer of Heavens A Beer was recently at one of the top race tracks in the world, the Nurburgring Speedway, Nurburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, with Heavens A Beer. The band was in town to perform their anthem for the speedway-Ose Ring.

Jochen currently has three snare drums from Beier Drums: 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14, 8 x 14, & 8 x 15. On the studio track for Ose Ring, and for many live performances, he is using the 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 these day's. The band keeps a lively tour schedule, and the single for the speedway has been a big hit. Bottom Line: These guy's are great, and this tune just knocked me out. It was released with vocals, and as an instrumental as well.

THOMAS NUSSBAUM-LIVE WITH FEELING FLOYD-GERMANY-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15...

Have had an incredibly great time staying in touch with German based professional...Thomas Nussbaum. He recently picked up a 1.5 Steel--4 x 15, and he is using it non-stop live. 

We had long discussions on drums, and particularly different types of heads. It settled on the Aquarian Textured Coated Power Dot. That head, to me, is one of the best made...Ever. He is very happy with it, and I have used a lot of these on my drums. 

Congrats on landing the new gig with Feeling Floyd Thomas. The clips...Were awesome. Thank You for your time, support, interest, and enthusiasm. Looking forward to staying in touch, and to hearing what you guy's are creating...!

LYNYRD SKYNYRD LEGEND ARTIMUS PYLE-LIVE IN CHICAGO-ARTIMUS PYLE BAND-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14....

Have been waiting for some time, but the amazing Artimus Pyle Band finally rolled through Chicago, and it was a great time to catch up with them.

This band live is incredible, and they always have been. As well, they are some of the greatest guys on the road. Have seen them a number of times, and was introduced to them by Monte Yoho of The Outlaws at a Southern Revival Concert. 

Artimus has been using his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 as his main since the first day he received it. To see him roll through the set of songs, playing that drum, is an incredible moment for a drum maker. I am a long-time fan of his, and was in the beginning.

MODERN DRUMMER-NOVEMBER 2018 ISSUE-SETH RAUSCH-KEITH URBAN GRAFFITI U TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15.....

It was a true honor and thrill to have Seth Rausch discuss his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 in the November Issue of Modern Drummer Magazine. He is using that drum as his main on Keith Urban's 2018 Graffiti U World Tour, and that was a wonderful and incredible surprise here. 

Elizabeth and I were at the show this Summer in Chicago, and it was a very special evening. This band is among the world's finest, and this tour has been a sell-out smash. Seth and Harry McCarthy could not have been more accommodating, and the entire day and evening is one that will always be remembered.

Want to send out a huge Thank You as well to one of Nashville's most respected players and legends...Tommy Harden. Tommy has used a 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 on countless sessions and records for years now, and he introduced Seth to this drum.  

Thank You Again For Everything Seth.....
