TRACY BROUSSARD-JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE-THE VOICE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14~
First, the band appeared on "The Voice," performing "A Guy With A Girl". They then appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and played "A Guy With A Girl," and "She's Got A Way With Words." He had his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 with him for these shows as well. This band is as close to perfect as it get's, and Tracy Broussard is a flawless performer, drummer, one of the coolest guy's in music, and is one of the overall greats in Country Music. (Please see the Video Links section of this website for links to videos of the performances)
The 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 drum he has been using live on the road since he started with it last Summer. He also has a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14, and the first production of the 5.5 x 10.
Thank You for everything Tracy, and also to another Nashville Ace....Russ Whitman.See you both on the road in 2017!
KEITH ZEBROSKI-LATE NIGHT TELEVISION-CMA AWARDS-MACY'S DAY PARADE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14 & 6.5 X 14~
The last several month's were really something for Beier Drums, and Keith Zebroski was a huge part of that.
Miranda Lambert has been out promoting her new record "Weight Of These Wings," and Keith had several of his 1.5 Steel drums with him. First, the band made a show-stopping appearance on the CMA Awards performing "Vice" off the new record. Keith then used his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 for live appearances with the band on the Macy's Day Parade, The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, & the Late Show With Stephen Colbert. This band, as everyone knows, is incredible....And one of the best on the road. (Please see Video section for links to clips of these performances)...
Keith is a massive-massive talent, and truly has been the best to deal with. Given that, it is easy to see why he has been such a huge success, is so widely respected as a player and a person, and is simply one of the greatest drummers on the scene. March will bring him into a new drum that I am just releasing, and it is a show I am really looking forward to. Special Thanks as always to Sean Paddock as well.
Thank You Keith....Looking forward to seeing you in March.....

DAVID NORTHRUP-OAK RIDGE BOYS CHRISTMAS SHOW-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 15-NEW RECORDS~
This month is something I always look forward to show-wise. I get to see David Northrup play my drums on the Oak Ridge Boys Christmas Tour. I will admit, as an adult I have lost some of the vibe for The Holidays. But this show brings it back in me big time. It quite simply is...One of the greatest Christmas Tours ever to hit the road.
The last several Christmas shows David used a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14, and a 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 last year. This year I was really anxious to see how his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 15 fit in. That....Went phenomenal. He put on a Die Cast hoop on the batter, and changed the Evans G1 out to a G2, and used it for the whole show. The Evans 15" heads were a huge and very pleasant surprise here. I have never used them before, and they were just perfect. He also had his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 on the road with him for the entire tour. Thanks Ken Brandt for your comments on that drum also!
As well, there recently were three records that he did and used Beier Snare Drums on select tracks: The Oak Ridge Boys "Celebrate Christmas," Peter Brandon's "4," which he also produced, and Chris Taylor's "Good People," which he produced as well.
Seeing David again and hearing him play, & watching the Oak Ridge Boys light it up on year 40+ made for a great evening. David....Thank You for everything this last year: The records, using my gear at your clinics, on tour, and your support & referrals. Your a legend for good reason, and have been an incredible friend. Additionally...If you ever have any questions on the direction your walking in the city....Let me know. OK?!

MIKE ZIMMERMAN-KENNY ROGERS WORLD TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14~
As it has been recently, I find myself a month behind on my Latest News. I tell you, with the way things have been rolling out here...It just does not seem possible to keep up everything. But like all of us....You catch up!
This month I finally got to meet Mike Zimmerman. Mike has been using his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 on Kenny Rogers "The Gambler's Last Deal Tour" which has been going around the world. The show I saw was the Christmas Show. I have been looking forward to this for some time, and it was a lot of fun. I really am thrilled to have him with one of my drums on this important, and as I have said previously....Historic tour. He also has a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 that he is starting with for session & studio work. He has used one before in Nashville, and I am really looking forward to hearing from him about it.
To sit down with Mike is like sitting down with an old friend and just picking up where you left off. Absolutely one of the great drummers on the scene, and one of the most easy-going & nicest dudes on the road. The show itself was a a blend of nostalgia up to present day, and it was something I will never forget.
Thanks Mike for the opportunity to see this show, for always using your 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 as your main, and for taking time out personally and introducing me to Kenny. Looking forward to staying in touch....

RUSS WHITMAN ON CRAIG MORGAN'S AMERICAN STORIES TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14~
Had a great time last month at Craig Morgan's American Stories Tour. The tour was a scaled back & informal show, with a lot of musical guests & stories. To me, it was like a "Musical Fireside Chat". The reviews on the show were great from A-Z, and it really was a ton of fun to see this. When this comes around again, check it out. It is something you don't want to miss.
Finally had a chance to sit down with Russ Whitman which I was really looking forward to. Russ has been incredibly supportive of Beier Drums, and uses a 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 as his main. He also has used a 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 15, 5.5 x 14 & 6.5 x 13 on tour. For this tour, he was using his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 for a portion of the show, and a Cajon for the rest of it. He is an incredible player, unbelievably knowledgeable, and is an all-around great dude. I really enjoyed my discussion with him.
The Craig Morgan Tour in 2017 is shaping up to be a big one again, and am really looking forward to seeing this band when they roll around. Thank You for everything Russ.....See you soon....

MONTE YOHO OF THE OUTLAWS-LEGACY LIVE-MODERN DRUMMER-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14 & 5.5 X 14~
A major Thank You going out to Monte Yoho of The Outlaws here this morning..!
First, the band just released their new double-live album: Legacy Live last month. This is a record that every music fan should listen to, and is quite simply...Masterful on every account. It illustrates perfectly how great this band is now, but has always been. They are legends, one of the greatest bands in the history of Southern Rock, and they sound exactly like this live....Every single time you see them. Monte used his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 for this, and that drum has been his main for some years now. He also uses a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 as an auxiliary.
Secondly, Modern Drummer just did a great piece on Monte that is on-line now, and there is also a spot in the December issue of Modern Drummer. Congratulations Monte, and Thank You for all of your support and friendship. See you guys soon!

ACHIM FAERBER-NEW AUTOMAT ALBUM-TOUR OF CHINA-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14~
Automat recently released their third album -"Ostwest". Achim Faerber used his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 on this record, as he has for the first two Automat records.
The band as well is starting a tour in China today to promote the album, has also toured Australia, and keeps a busy schedule of live performances in Germany and other parts of Europe. While relatively new on the music scene as a band, these three have been amazingly productive, and have been a huge hit with electronic music fans.
Achim recently discussed his use of my gear in the "Gear Talk" section of Bonedo (See Review Section on this site), and also is the reason my 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15 appeared for a review with them as well. I have known Achim for quite some time, and will say something I have said many times: He is one the most versatile and gifted players on the scene in Europe. The latest article in Bonedo stated this as well. He can go from his heavy hitting duties with Eisbrecher at a festival with 30,000 people, to a club date with with Peter Heppner with an orchestral section. He also is one of three drummers that performs live with Project Pitchfork, and is the live and studio drummer for Prag. Both of those acts he tours with his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 as well.
Thank You Again for everything Achim. Your use of my gear and friendship have always been a major highlight here. Also sending out Thanks to Max Gebhardt & Christoph Behm of Bonedo. You two are unbelievably responsive and professional, and I really value and appreciate that...
