I am a huge fan of the Working Drummer Podcast, and Matthew Crouse just had on Nashville great, Mike Zimmerman, on episode 297.
As always on this podcast, it was a great conversation on Mike's musical journey, his long time gig with Kenny Rogers, what he is up to in his studio, and in life in general.
I have known Mike for quite some time now, and had the honor of him using his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 on the road with Kenny, and his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14. I was in attendance for two of the shows, and also got an introduction to Kenny because of Mike. Those shows were, and will always be, unforgettable.
