Wanted to send a huge Thank You to Robin Dane Ritter (Independent, Acoustic Mayhem) this morning here....

We recently touched base, and it has been some time. He was one of the earliest of players to pick up a drum from here at Forks Drum Closet....1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14. He was so great to deal with, and I was really delighted to see that that drum is still one of mains today. 

Thanks Again Robin...Absolutely love the updated pics. Your vintage Ludwig kit is pretty incredible! Will look forward to staying in touch....

PLAN B WINS THE BEST OF THUNDER BAY 2020 READER'S SURVEY-BEST COVER BAND-FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR-PETER RESLINSKI-BEIER 1.5 STEEL SERIES....

Big Congratulations going out to Plan B on winning The Best Of Thunder Bay 2020 Readers Poll for the fifth consecutive year for Best Cover Band. Joey Miller of Plan B was voted as Best Bassist. That speaks for itself, but it speaks even more loudly from their fans considering the band has not performed live in recent times. Their fan base is large, and a great band is never forgotten.

Peter Reslinski, one of the top drummers in the region, was nominated for Best Drummer again. He currently uses a number of drums from Beier Drums as his main...1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 & 7.5 x 15 live with the band. 

Congratulations to all of the member of Plan B.....Live Times are coming again, and that will make a lot of people very, very happy....

 Mike Collins (Earl Slick, Metts, Ryan & Collins, Dilana, Ken Stringfellow, Throwback Suburbia) is gearing up to release a new multi-artist record from Rooftop Screamers-Next Level. The record will be released this month, and Mike used his main of many years....1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 from beginning to end on this.

"What a weird year, right??

I know it's been a struggle for most everyone and for some, literally devastating.

Personally I was able to keep my head above water, but there were some challenges as well. Not being able to perform live was pretty depressing, to say the least.

The lack of stage time forced me to focus on more songwriting and recording for my studio project-

RoofTop Screamers

. I got the opportunity to work with some incredibly talented people, all of whom I've been a fan of for years! The result is a new album that I'll be releasing in two weeks. I truly feel like it's the best batch of songs I've ever written. There's a wide variety of styles, but my power-pop leanings remain prevalent.

DWAIN MESSER SET TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE-TITLE TRACK FROM GOES SO FAST-MARK BECKET-BEIER 1.5 STEEL SERIES....

Dwain Messer is set to release another single from his new album on January 15th-Goes So Fast, and it is the title track. 

I have listened to this record numerous times over, and it is truly a record that is from the heart. It is melodic, it is a story, and Dwain Messer is an immensely talented artist.

Nashville legend, Mark Beckett, selected his Beier Snare Drums for this record, and of course did his always incredible job on his tracks.I am really proud to have my drums on a record like this, with one of the great drummers of our time.
