I was really honored to learn that Artimus Pyle (Artimus Pyle Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd) used his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 for a song for Street Survivors-The True Story Of The Lynyrd Skynyrd Plane Crash. The song is Street Survivor, and it was written and performed by Scott Raines & Jerry Lyda of the Artimus Pyle Band.
Artimus has been amazing to work with for years, and his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 has been his main since Day 1 of receiving it. I met him through another one of the greatest Southern Rock drummers of all time...Monte Yoho of The Outlaws. Monte used this same size drum as his main for years in the studio and live before retiring from the road.
Thank You Again Artimus for everything. Congratulations on this production and the rave reviews that have come along with it. You did an incredible job. I am really looking forward to seeing you guys soon.....
