DONN DENISTON-FIRST LIVE PERFORMANCE OF THE BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 14..........

Donn Deniston is a remarkable talent, is the most recorded drummer at Rooftop Recording in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and is someone I have always listened to very closely. I listen to everybody, I always have. I listen more than I talk, and I have learned so much from players over the years, it would be hard to calculate. Donn’s knowledge of gear, live performance, the retail side of this business, history, parts, etc….Virtually all aspects of this business, is truly amazing. I have had many lengthy conversations with him over the years, and I have learned a lot from him.

He and another player asked me years ago if I would make a 1.5 Steel–4 x 14. I declined at the time, it was not a drum that I wanted to put in the line up. Being the consummate pros that they are though, they just said to let them know if I ever do make a drum in that size. I said I would let them know, and did just that...Years later. (I will be following up with this article on the other and final 1.5 Steel–4 x 14 with a player currently out on the road).

I could not be happier that you have this drum Donn, and I really, really appreciate everything over the years. Your extensive recording and live performances with your 1.5 Steel–5.5 x 14 & 6.5 x 14 mean a lot to me. I'm glad there's another one in the mix, that you love it, and it is what you expected. I'm so looking forward to hearing your future work as always.

Thank You!

TRACY BROUSSARD-LIVE WITH BLAKE SHELTON-PFIZER FORUM-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--5.5 X 14 & 5.5 X 12...CMA AWARDS-BEIER 1/5 STEEL--5.5 X 14...

Sending out a huge Thank You to a Nashville legend, and one of the greatest guys in this industry...Tracy Broussard.

Elizabeth and I recently had an utterly amazing time at the Friends & Heroes Tour 2021 when it stopped in Milwaukee. It has been quite some time since we have seen him and the band live, and we were so looking forward to it. We had a great visit, and Tracy, as to be expected, blazed his way through the night with multiple artists. Him, and that band, just floored me with their musicianship. Switching gears between all of the different Artists, and all of the different music, was simply masterful. Blake's band is the band for the entire show, and it is an incredible experience.

Tracy had his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 as his main, and his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 12 as his auxiliary for this tour. The band also appeared on the CMA Awards recently where he had his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 for the show. I have had the long running honor of Tracy using his gear from here for countless appearances on television and cable including Entertainment Tonight, iHeart, The Peoples Choice Awards, The Tonight Show, The Today Show, past CMA Awards shows, and multiple appearances on the major networks for New Years Eve concerts.

Thank You For Everything from both of us again Tracy. I will look forward to staying in touch, and hoping to see you soon again....

MIKE HANSEN-LIVE WITH THE FUNK BROTHERZ-CHICAGO-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14........

Elizabeth and I recently had the opportunity to see Mike Hansen live in Chicago, and it was an absolutely fantastic time.

Mike is a long time veteran of the music industry, and the Funk Brotherz is one of his many projects he is involved in. He is currently the long time drummer for Hurricane, and has been behind the kit for countless artists including George Lynch, Steve Vai, Paula Abdul, The Pointer Sisters, Dug Pinnick, and others. He is also in the process of finishing up the upcoming release from Hurricane, and is recording in his studio non-stop. I also have had the honor of Mike selecting his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 15 & 6.5 x 14 for numerous records.

It was great to see you my friend, and we both absolutely loved this show. Will see you soon....!
