RODGER CARTER-DOGHOUSE STUDIO...

Thanks Rodger Carter for sending me this pic of your new Beier 1.5 Steel Snare--6.5 x 14 from the studio. I truly appreciate it, and hope you find great use for it.

Rodger is the long time drummer for Rick Springfield, and the owner of Doghouse Studio. He has performed and recorded with numerous artists including Berlin, Lita Ford, John Waite, Eddie Money, Gene Simmons, and many more. He used his Beier 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 on the track "Get Down Make Love" from his record "Licorice Pizza". He also used his Beier 2mm Brass Snare--6 x 14 on the track "Wichita Lineman" on Glen Campbell's "See You There", and Katrina Carlson's "Shine On" on her album "Sunshine State Of Mind".

Thanks Again Rodger....Always great to hear from you.

SOUTHERN ROCK REUNION-MONTE YOHO OF THE OUTLAWS-ARTIMUS PYLE

Had the great pleasure of attending the Southern Rock Reunion on August 4th in Elgin, Illinois. The line-up was a great one: The Outlaws-Artumus Pyle-Molly Hatchett-The Marshall Tucker Band. I got to see my friend, and long-time supporter of Beier Drums-Monte Yoho....finally! It had been some time. As always, The Outlaws were in spectacular form, and were simply incredible. It was also great to introduce Artimus Pyle to Beier Drums, and watch him work his way through all of the classic Lynyrd Skynyrd songs that his band plays. Monte was using his mainstay go-to snare-The Beier 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 live, with his 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 as an auxiliary. Thanks Again to Monte & all of The Outlaws, Artimus Pyle, and Ron Onesti who is the owner of Onesti Entertainment, The Arcada Theater, and a person who is arguably one of the best concert promoters in this country...
